Our founders story

Craigh's journey to founding Cornerstone Wellness Centre is one of transformation and redemption. Growing up in poverty, Craigh had to physically fight for everything he wanted.

He got involved with the wrong crowd, and his life revolved around gangsterism. As he navigated this lifestyle, Craigh also developed a serious addiction to alcohol, which eventually spiralled out of control. His substance abuse didn't stop at alcohol; he would often combine it with drugs, further exacerbating the problem.

The Consequences

This destructive path took a toll on his personal life, relationships, and overall well-being. Craigh's addiction and lifestyle choices led to the breakdown of his marriage, and he found himself lost and without direction.

A Turning Point

But one day, he hit rock bottom, Craigh realized he had two choices: fix his life or end up in jail or dead. In that moment, he gave his life to God. He reconciled with his wife, Lizelle, and they got remarried.

A Calling

Craigh received a message from God: "Go out and call my people, go make fisher of men." He felt a strong desire to help the "down and outs," the outcasts in society who, like him, had been trapped in addiction and desperation.

A Dream Takes Shape

Craigh shared his vision with Lizelle - to open a rehabilitation centre for men. Lizelle was initially shocked, but after six months, she joined him on this journey.

Today

Craigh and Lizelle run Cornerstone Wellness Centre together, providing a safe haven for men to recover and find hope. Their story is a testament to the power of redemption and the impact of faith on one's life.
